AFSBC's Farm/Feral Cat Spay and Neuter Program is under way!!!
To get a Boone County farm/feral cat spayed or neutered you can simply fill out our Spay/Neuter Form on our, "What About the Cats?!" sub-page, with your name, address, and phone number, along with the number of cat(s) to be seen by our friends at Belvidere Family Pet Hospital. Then call Belvidere Family Pet Hospital at (815)544-9930 to make an appointment. It's that easy!
Belvidere Family Pet Hospital will charge each Boone County resident a nominal fee for spay and neuter services. An additional charge for flea treatment may be added if fleas are present. AFSBC will cover the rest of the costs associated with the spay/neuter proceedure, including the rabies shot!!!
Cats will be received on a first come, first served basis with the program running until all allotted funds are spent.
Post-op instructions will be provided to each resident at the time cats are made available to be picked up from the hospital.
*Please have a proof of address ready when you visit the hospital.
** If your farm/feral friend is already pregnant an additional fee may be charged to residents still wishing to spay.
