About Roanie
Roanie was a pitiful pup with balding on his face and body, when he came to our shelter. He was diagnosed with, “Strangles,” which is an autoimmune disease. Now, four months later, after several rounds of prednisone, his coat is thick, and he is a spunky little guy. Roanie loves everyone he meets. He weighs 15 pounds and was born in September 2025. He is still working on house-training, but he is a smart boy and will learn quickly. His breed is a mystery to us. He is certainly a mixture of various breeds, Terrier, Chihuahua, Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, Minnie Australian Shepherd — Take your pick. He is the best of all of them.
